I have never really included rain boots inside my basic style wardrobe because of the mostly Sunny L.A. weather (not to mention the drought we’ve suffered almost all the years I’ve lived here!). But a couple weeks ago, when we visited Napa Valley, we met some rain, walking in the mud and on watery streets, and that reminded me that I really need a pair of rain boots.
So I got myself a pair of rain boots at the Black Friday Sale. These boots totally changed my idea about “rain boots” —- For me, they are a pair of boots, rain, snow, or shine…

I found my usual size hunter boot a bit tight. Do you buy one size bigger or half size bigger?
