I
Even though I am not too new to American culture ( more than 5 years living here so far), I don’t get many chances to attend weddings here. I know in China, we always give the new couple a red envelop with cash inside, but here in the U.S. we give the new couple something they will need, usually from a store where they registered for wedding gifts. Somehow according to my personal thinking, I think that’s always right when you try to show somebody your love by giving them gifts. 🙂
Some gifts for the bride and groom in my mind right now: (from top and left)
1. Kate Spade New York “Gardener Street” Toasting Flutes
2. Fresh Trends 2mm (.030 ct. tw) Diamond 14K White Gold Nose Rings Bone (My niece Chelsea is the only person I know who wear nose ring!)
3. Miu Miu Swarovski crystal and faux pearl choker
4. Charlotte Olympia Pink Scent perfume bottle perspex clutch(Yes! this is a clutch, isn’t it cute? )
5. Chloé L’Eau de Chloé Gift Set
6. Uniform Wares 250 Series Steel Wristwatch
7. Coach Diary Book Refill
8. Alexander McQueenSkull-embellished leather iPad sleeve
9. Michael Aram ‘Fig Leaf’ Salt & Pepper Shakers
oooh definitely want to be married one day 🙂

That sounds wonderful! Wish I had the chance to attend another wedding – at a certain age they seem to get replaced by funerals instead:)
Those are gorgeous gift ideas Hallie; you have such great taste!

The wedding sounds so fun! You should post pictures of this beautiful place when you go! And the gifts you picked are awesome – not boring linens and dishes like typical wedding presents.
This post have really nice and unusual tips!! Love it..
