White & black is one of my favorite color combo looks — it’s classic, yet timeless, and never too much or too boring. Today I am showing 3 black and white looks I styled in the last couple days. Will you let me know which one is your favorite?
Look 1:
Recently I have been into cropped jackets. With a cropped jacket, a blouse or shirt with ruffled collar is very good for layering — they make the neckline so much fun and lift the whole outfit to another level. Here I am wearing a Zara cropped jacket, Zara polka dot dress/shirt, Smythe Pants (old, similar here), and Zara platform loafers. Talking about heeled lug sole loafers, they are so hot this season, and they are must-have for a petite body like mine.
Look 2
If you are open to do a mid-riff style, wearing a bra top together with an oversized blazer is all the Hollywood “cool kids” favorite style. I have never had an issue with the mid-riff style; one reason is that living in Los Angeles for so long, warm most of the year, it is easy to adopt this style so easily. Here I am wearing a Balmain tweed blazer (I got it many years ago, and see the other looks here & here, similar style but budget friendly version here), Max Mara white pants, Saint Laurent bag & Christian Louboutin shoes, and the bra is by Splits59.
Look 3
This look is my favorite from these 3 looks. As I mentioned, I always like to find a shirt/blouse with interesting collars, and this Zara blouse comes with a round pearl collar, and it brings” a bit royal touch” to this black and white look. Pleated skirt is by Gap, polka dot mules are Manolo Blahnik(old, similar style here), clutch bag is Saint Laurent, and jacket is Rosetta Getty.(the same style has sold out, and I also love this new jacket in Windowpane print)
