I recently bought this pair of 2nd hand Smythe Mini Bootcut/Flared Pants at an incredible price. I really like the color, the fit, and the style. I think it’s easy to style as well; today I styled these pants in 3 ways:
1.Glamour
2.Classic
3.Everyday Casual
More details below, I hope you like it.
1. Go Glam or Go Home.
I always like dress up a pair of pants — it’s kind of a challenge and kind of fun. The choice of top and accessories make the difference. It really depends on how much attention you want to get, from colors, to the cut . . . today I paired these flared pants with a Zara fuchsia satin top, and a pair of same colored platform pumps. It’s total glamour for going out at night & to shine, or you can add an oversized “fancy” hat like I did today, for a day time event or party. I am wearing a vintage Chanel hat here, found a similar version here. See below to see my other suggestion for “going glam” with an all-black version.
2. Let’s Go Classic.
This style is normally my formal style when styling flared pants. I would wear this outfit to a girls’ brunch, church service, or a family gathering. Here I am wearing a Zara light jacket, and Manolo Blahnik mules, and Ferragamo bag. See below for my other suggestion for “going classic” in another pastel combo.
3. Everyday Casual:
This style is actually my everyday wear, when I go grocery shopping, doing errands, or sending my son to school. These Lauren Ralph Lauren sneakers are my most often worn sneakers, and I keep another pair in the car — my favorite driving shoes! This J.Crew Canvas Bag (sold out, I also have and love this tote bag from them) is also my other most carried bag, the perfect size for holding all I want when I go out: keys, wallet, phone, sunglasses, everything a girl needs. I also like how easy the strap can be adjusted — the best cross-body bag for everyday wear. Here I am also wearing a cropped button-down shirt by Banana Republic; it also comes in many colors and patterns, and I am thinking about getting the stripes, as well. See below my other suggestion for “everyday casual” in some of my other casual picks
