Winter Pastel

Los Angeles winter weather can be confusing.  In the morning lately, is has been chilly and cold, but by noon it is warm and very windy with the sun shining bright.  My poor Red Bear told me last night that his hands were hurting, and when I looked at them, I saw they were so dry and red from this weather — and so were his lips and cheeks.  I told him that’s why he needs to let me put lotion on his skin and some balm on his lips.  Red Bear told me, “No!  That’s girl stuff!”  Oh boy, oh boy!  What a stubborn little guy he can be!

A dry winter makes me want to wear something “skin friendly.”  For example, I like this cowl neck tunic and this wool blend skirt.  They are both very soft, and don’t cause any static electricity.  (I HATE static electricity, both the little shocks and how it makes things cling to you, btw!)

Lately this pink Balmain blazer is on top of my wish list, but until I put my hands on it, I think I will bring this old Forever 21 pink blazer out of my clost to satisfy myself a bit.
