Old and New: Floral Blazer and Red Skater Dress

HallieDaily Red Floral n Red Dress_0

While I keep all my skater dresses in my closet, I am getting more and more blazers, different colors with different patterns.  They are just so easy to be dress up and down, with dresses or jeans — well, you might already know that!. 🙂

I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday! It’s the 2nd day for Red Bear in his new school.  He wasn’t happy when he went off to the school today, I think because he doesn’t know any of the new classmates, and because he got used to playing all day, every day during summer vacation.  I am so anxious to know how he is doing in school today; we will soon see!

  1. I love the silhouette of skater dresses. I think it’s flattering on everyone. Blazers just make everything classier, no matter how you style it. They’re a great staple!

  4. Blazers are the quickest way for me to piece together any outfit when I’m in a hurry and need to rush out the door hehe. I love the pattern of yours! Hope you’ve been having a lovely week xx

  5. Not everybody can pull off a red dress WITH a red floral blazer… but you did.
Very nice 🙂 Love your blazer..

  6. Thanks for your concern for Red Bear, your good wishes came true! Second day of school he found a “new best friend,” the boy who sits across from him at the table in class, and now he is happy and looking forward to going to school. 5 year olds can bounce back pretty fast!

  7. I’ve always love a skater dress and this one look so good on you.
Fashion aside, I’m wondering iif you’re missing Red Bear once he started school? I heard some friends saying that they’ve been so use to have their kids around and once they went to school/kindy, they kind of felt like the day is so long as they aren’t as occupied with their kids’ presence. Do you feel the same?
