Yesterday, I read one of the comments from feelingliu, telling me she enjoys my style, but right now she can’t afford some of the beautiful items I have mentioned in my blog. At the same time, she has been afraid to bring colors in her outfit, but she is going to try when the Spring comes. Firstly, thanks to Feelingliu, for your comments. Secondly, I would love to give you some ideas about looking chic and it really doesn’t need to cost your arms or legs. I don’t suggest girls to go into debt buying luxury items, ’cause that’s just foolish! (Although I did spent ALL of my paycheck on clothing when I was 15, but that’s another story!)
In the example I post today, the wool chunky sweater was a vintage find [$5], and the slim pants were on sale for $30, and you have seen me wear these $30 Tildon shoes many times in my blog.
I do suggest though, if you can, invest in a good bag , and a good pair of shoes. Bags and shoes last forever if you are careful with them, so over time you can acquire a good closet of them to make every outfit look great. And, if you just started trying to bring color in your wardrobe, those pale or pastel colors are a good starter. I wore this outfit for the weekend, good to go in the office if you wear a white button-down under.
