Lime and Grass: Pencil Skirt with Peplum Hem and Cropped Cardigan

HallieDaily Grass and Lime, ASOS Pencil Peplum Skirt, Dolce & Gabbana Bag, Christian Louboutin Nude Puumps_6I was conflicted before I posted the first picture.  I like everything about this picture except — my hands, to me they look bad, they look ugly; as I told you in my post : My fitness story, I used to play a lot of badminton and tennis, plus I still do a lot of house and garden work, and I think my hands looks very rough and big, that’s one of the reason you barely see me showing my hands on my blog.

But after thinking about it twice, they are my hands, I love them! They have brought me so much happiness and help to achieve so many dreams! If people leave my blog because of my “ugly” hands, I will wave and say “good-bye” to them.

  12. Your hands/fingers look like a long and comfortable life. You know how chinese view skinny/boney fingers, right? Hard life! My finger are not long, slim, and tapered, either but I still love them.

    BTW, thank you for today’s inspiration. I have a pair of green gap pants (same shade of green like your top) and a neon yellow old navy top (same shade of your skirt). I will pair them and see what happens.

  13. It’s so funny how critical we can be of ourselves. I never, in a million years, would have thought that your hands looked big or rough in the first photo. They look totally normal – just an average ordinary pair of hands. Glad you decided to post the picture.

    I totally love this outfit on you. It’s so bright and cheerful. The skirt is amazing – can’t believe it’s from Asos. What a great find!

  22. I have exactly the same “hand issue”! I had a lot of arguments with my boyfriend. I always ask him to crop my awkward hands gestures out of some photos, and he has to reassure me millions of times that it’s fine, nobody will notice… I guess it’s a psychological problem 😛
    Seriously, I didn’t notice anything wrong with your hands even after you mentioned it. Awesome look, btw!
