Happy Mother’s Day – HallieDaily

Last year, after we transferred our son to a Public Charter school from a private school, a lot of other moms didn’t understand us; some of them believe private gives better education and with better people.

After a whole year experience in the new public charter school, our son learned a lot there, made a lot of friends, all the teachers there are very nice and professional, and we all love it there.

Besides our son, I learned a lot from the school too, got to talk to different kinds of people, including a lot of single and working moms. They work so hard for their kids, they love their kids, they love life, they love beauty, just like me. Sometimes they teach me where to buy good beauty products with good prices (like fake eyelashes :), and which thrift store has more goodies and better selection.

The lesson I learned from there is to looking at the essence of everything, but not the $.

In today’s post I’m cooperating with the brand Alloy Apparel, not only because they were my first catalog shopping experience in the beginning of my life in the U.S. 6 years ago, but this brand reminds me of those moms I met in our son’s school — they are kind, they work hard, and they are beautiful.

Oh, and I have to give credit to those sandals, almost the first new pair of sandals that didn’t cause any blister on my foot when I first wore them.
