What to Wear: A Chic Summer Guest

How exciting that Red Bear’s birthday is coming soon, and we are going to throw his first birthday party for him! Fingers crossed that everything will go well.

At the same time, I received so many other day-time home hosting party invite, too, wedding, birthday, baby shower….How to wear for the party and being a chic guest in the Summer? Here are my ideas:

While the Zara light weight trench has been seen everywhere, the fact is I LOVE a trench and I do believe they can be worn in so many ways, so investing in a good light weight trench is a good idea.  I love this one from Steven Alan.

Can you believe these jeans are from Target? I like the assorted washes light blue for the Summer.

The other day I tried on these Miu Miu and this Chanel Nail Polish in the store, instantly loving them, but I can’t find the exact color online now,  I regret I didn’t buy it ewhen I saw it in the store.

My next “it” bag obsession has to be this GIVENCHY Antigona.  I’m still debating the color choice.  I like the white for the summer, but black seems more wearable.

All right, all right, let’s talk about Birkenstock, again, shall we? They are so, so, so HOT right now, I don’t know how long I can resist them, they look too comfy to deny. And it’s so Summery! But, if you’re like me, and you don’t feel comfortable to show your little piggies too often, then these Alexander Wang Pointed Toe Pumps are looking very good, too!

About jewelry, I am not really into an “arm party” these days.  I am more a “watch” person, just got this Movado watch, in love!

Last but not least, when I am invited to a friend’s home, I always like to bring some flower vase, and flowers, too; that always makes the house wife happy from my experience. 🙂 I like this BLOOMS by Diane James Cream Peony Bouquet from Bloomingdale‘s, so beautiful!
