What to Wear: Spring Wedding Guest Dress

Red Bear’s school’s Spring Break is almost to the end;he is going back to school tomorrow after 1 week’s vacation. He’s looking forward to it, though, because he says he misses school and can’t wait to come back and see his friend! So cute!

I have heard from many friends who say they have invitations to weddings this spring, and they asked me to recommend some Spring wedding guest dresses. I am a traditional Chinese woman, so I think everybody should wear sweet and lovely dresses when attending somebody else’s wedding (even if that’s your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend! .:)

There are so many dresses to choose from, it all depends on your budget.  I personally like to wear something not too tight, not too short, and that feels comfy and breathable.  I have been to many weddings, and find I’m always chatting and walking around.  Silk can be wrinkle-ish, and gets stained so easily with a spill or even sweat from some hot dancing, so think carefully before choosing any silk fabric.  A stylish cotton dress is my favorite; there is no risk when choosing some lovely colors (but not white, of course; that is reserved for the bride on her day!).

Accessorized with some of your favorite jewelry — pearl is my personal favorite lately — you can look gorgeous and still feel comfortable through the wedding and reception party.  And don’t forget to choose a pair of comfy heels or wedges!

My hair doesn’t stay well in some humid areas after hot tool styling, so wearing a braid is a smart idea.
