Weekend Shopping : Sale Alert

Los Angeles weather is pretty confused as we head into Mother’s Day weekend! It was almost perfect weather all week, but right now it’s raining and a bit chilly (snowing in the nearby mountains), so that’s what I wore last night for a Friday night dinner out with my family, combined with Red Bear practicing hitting the baseball at a batting cage (sorry about the fizzy iPhone pictures). I was wearing: Burberry Trench (via: yoox), Jimmy Choo Flats (via: Net-a-Porter, no tax!) & Prada Bag (via Neiman Marcus clearance).

I’ve received a lot of comments like, “You always find the best stuff on sale,” or, “How much do you spend each month to support your ‘luxury’ closet?”

I have to let you in on my secret: I shopped most of my designer items when they were on an incredible sale or when they were on clearance. A little bit of luck is involved, indeed! I love a good deal, and some of my sale buys have been among my most favorite purchases.
