Heading to Coachella, Some Style Inspiration For you!

So, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival is just 2 days away, and it seems all of my friends and neighbors are talking about it. It’s just such a BIG thing, especially here in Southern California! (On the other hand, it makes the greater Palm Springs area REALLY crowded, and hotel rooms hard to find for miles around.)

This year I am a little sad, I decided not to go to Coachella, and so I had to decline so many party invites, and sad to miss fun times with my friends and the live music.My main reason is that this year, Coachella comes during my son Red Bear’s Easter Vacation, and Coachella is NOT a good venue for ten year olds, more an adult vibe there. And almost all of the parties are at night and for grown-ups, kids not welcome. Being a mom, I have to choose between leaving my son and husband at home, and having fun without them for a few days, and that’s tough, especially when my son is out of school.

I know, when I see pictures and hear stories of what I will miss at Coachella, I might feel a little bad, but we are planning a fun family vacay at the same time, so we’ll all have fun together. But, hey!
