Family Weekend in Bellevue: Featuring The Westin Bellevue

Thanks to my little blog, I like to write down all our travel journeys, and all the hotels where we stayed during our family vacations over the last 9 years. There are so many good memories so far! And I am so happy to add the Westin Bellevue to our great travel memories.

The Westin Bellevue is an AAA Four-Diamond hotel located in the heart of Bellevue, Washington. The hotel has 337 guest rooms, with a 24/7 fitness studio, an indoor heated pool and whirlpool, and the beautiful Cypress Lounge & Wine Bar We had the breakfast buffet there twice during our 3-day stay, and their omelet station is so far beyond the game; I am an omelet lover, and my 2 egg whites with smoky salmon and all kind of veggies was so DELICIOUS! My vegan men (husband and son) also enjoyed feasting on the selection of delicious fruits, juices, and other healthy buffet choices. Nobody left hungry, that’s for sure!

What else do we like about the Westin Bellevue? First of all, the hotel is very convenient, it was easy to get around, so many different/style food just steps away, the Macy’s store is just across the street. We had a rental car, but we didn’t need it except when we drove out of Bellevue to visit Snoqualmie Falls and enjoy the forest — everything else was within short walking distance of the Westin, or a short Uber jaunt.

The lobby offers free Starbucks coffee in the morning, and also lemon water and tasty apples in the afternoon. I find it’s very welcoming and sweet!

Our suite was on the 15th floor, and the view from our room was gorgeous. Seattle area has late sunset this time of year (around 10pm!), so every night we almost fell asleep while watching the beautiful sunset over the water. How lovely is that?!
