This is the season, leaves turn golden, more holiday lights are out, and parties are on. If you’ve received some party invites and are looking for that “Little Black Dress,” we have some ideas for you!
Today I am styling 2 party looks, both are in that “LBD” vibe. As we all know, the little black dress (LBD) is a wardrobe essential because it’s versatile, affordable, and easy to be dressed up and down. And depending on your personal party style, you can wear the LBD in a glamour or effortless chic.
The first look features a rhinestone fishnet crossover dress. This dress is formfitting, and if that’s the style you are going for, it is very flattering and comfortable to wear, too! Here I am pairing an imitation pearl trim mini clutch that comes with a very budget-friendly price ($62 after discount). I am 5’3, so I always like to wear platform shoes with a long dress for most of party looks. These velvet platforms have big bows on the front and are perfect for any party looks!
If you are going to a party that might require a lot of walking & standing, and you are thinking about flats or low heels, I recommend these super cute green embellished satin flats, or these velvet kitten red heels — both styles are very festive with that modern touch. I am into Mary Jane shoes lately, and these Mary Jane flats I am wearing today are my new favorites for any daily outfit and more casual party looks. This bubble hem dress comes with a fitted knit top with very fun sleeve details. I especially love those pockets on the side. You can also choose to add some of your favorite necklaces to this dress. My bag is another budget-friendly find, on sale now from here. And if you are still looking for a heeled version to style with this dress, perhaps try these velvet mules I wore in the picture below?
If you are not really into the LBD look, I feel you might like this white bouclé strapless sheath dress (this style sells out in many sizes very quickly) and I just placed the order myself, too. I also bought this golden satin dress; I am thinking to do a low bun style with it together this layered necklace, and planning for a Friday night out with hubby — it will be a fantasy night, I already sense it.
