I love velvet for the holidays; I find it super-vibrant and simply pretty no matter what color it is. And I have always loved a midi to long dress, and this gold velvet dress with the balloon sleeves & cinch waist details give this dress such a joyful silhouette. For parties, I like to add statement earrings, a clutch & shimmery shoes.

This is something I want to tell myself, too. “You don’t need to wear five-inch heels that would cause you so much pain the next day, and you don’t need to be in a tight, tiny dress that you can’t even breath well, or can barely laugh out lound. lol.
