Q & A: My Favorite Eye Make Up Products

All right, so the main reason I like to wear sunglasses on almost my every outfit post is: —-

I am too lazy to apply the eye make-up…(That’s why most of our photoshoots are finished within only 20 mins, that includes make up/hair and shooting)

There were few times I applied some eye make-up and dare to show you my bare puffy eyes, and I am so flattering that most of you like how I did my eye liner. And some of you asked me what tools and products I use. So today I share some of my favorites, they are the best I have tried so far.  but the search for the “perfect” eye make-up goes on!

1. Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eyeliner. (I was a make up beginner few years ago, and I asked the saleslady in Neiman Marcus, and she recommend this me. and I have been using it for years.  It stays so long and so well, and that little box? I am afraid I can use it for a couple more years…

2. Stilla Stay All Day Waterproof liquid eye liner.(Same story, when I was a make-up beginner few years ago when I first came to the USA, and this product was what the saleslady from Sephora recommended to me.  She said that was her best seller, and I now know why. The thin, marker-like tip is easy to use, from a thin line to a bold, dramatic stroke. It goes on smoothly without skipping, smudging, or pulling. I like the tip so much, that I kept using it even after all the liquid eyeliner in it ran out. The combination with its tip + the Laura Mercier Cake Eyeliner I mentioned earlier, is a win-win to me!

For eyebrows, I like to use the 4.Yves Saint Laurent Eyebrow Pencil, I like how the precision pencil redefines the line while the brows are tamed with the spiral brush. And I like to use the 3. M.A.C Eye pencil –the tip is so thin, and really helps to finish any arches and filling I want. Plus, no pencil sharpener needed!

I forgot to add the mascara within the pictures, but my favorite ones are: Lancôme ‘Cils Booster XL’ Super Enhancing Mascara Base, and Lancôme ‘Hypnôse Drama’ Instant Full Body Volume Mascara. I got them as sample gifts in one of the fashion events I attended, and I really fell in love with them after trying them out a few times.

I hope today’s post can answer some of your questions. Let me know if you want to know anything else from me? I will try my best.

Wish you have a Happy Weekend!

  1. Oh yes, I like the lazy-let’s-wear-sunglasses type of make-up. LOL!! I guess that’s the secret behind the scenes for bloggers to do a quick photography session.
I recently bought Shu Uemura’s Liquid Eyeliner and I like it loads.
