Pencil skirts are easy to style, from the workplace to a party; depending on the fabric and design, the feminine and slim silhouette can sometimes limit body movement, like forcing slighter bends and smaller steps. That is one of the reasons I like to wear knit pencil skirts, to maintain the look but make the movements smoother.
Today’s pencil skirt is from here; I paired it with a polka dot ruffled neck blouse. I have been obsessing with ruffle neck tops lately, because they are fun pieces to dress up almost every outfits — see the other similar looks here & here. Also, if you are thinking about getting a new jacket or light-weight coat this season, give the crop length a try; the oversized crop design is a good way to lengthen up the legs. The one I am wearing today is from here; unfortunately it is sold out everywhere, but I also found this similar style as another good option, and this crop coat is currently sitting in my cart.
