I used to take a lot of pictures of/with my son when he was very little, but then he objected to posing for me when he hit a certain age, and we always respect his choice and privacy. Then, a few days ago, I told him, “You look so handsome and mature now, but I feel sad that I haven’t had many new pictures of you in my phone for long time.”
He surprised me, and replied, “Fine, I am going to do it.” So here I am posting some pictures of how we took together lately. Things might change later, but until then, I will always cherish these pictures, and I am sure my family and friends in China would like to see them, too!
Here I am wearing a jacket by J.Crew; pants are from Max Mara, but from several years ago. And we have to give a shout out to those khaki pants my son is wearing here. I have been buying him almost non-stop khaki pants since he was in elementary school (he is in high school now, by the way ), and almost all the schools he has attended require a certain dress code, and khaki pants are a universal must-have. So, yes, I have tried many different brands / styles / prices, and so far this pair got all our votes: fits comfortably and well, and doesn’t have wrinkles after washing. I also bought him this pair with more loose and casual fit, and these New Balance Sneakers, and we also love it!
