The Fun Combination: Ruffle Skirt and Sneakers

In early September, during my trip to NYC for the NYFW, I had a chance to meet one new Chinese friend. She is that kind of lady who really makes me admire — smart, well-educated, and very knowledgeable. And she works in a high-position in an international organization, which rarely has female involved at such high levels. Luckily, she happens to love my style and became a “fan” of me. (Am I right, XiaoDong? 🙂

We have a lot to talk about — our works, business, family , U.S. life, China life ….and, of course, one more thing we share is our interest in fashion. She told me she is always into fashion, but for her special job (sort of a government job), she has to wear a more conservative “office style”. But she likes to play “dress up” and “beg” her husband to take pictures of her on the weekend.

I told her that’s almost same thing as me, I like to play “dress up ” in my blog (in today’s case, it’s inspired by Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015). This “dress up” feeling is like trying to walk in our mom’s heels or steal her lipstick to try on when we were little girls. Try to reach the dream that is deep inside our hearts — we want to be different and beautiful!
