Wearing a scarf as a top is not a new thing to try, but if you are getting bored with your wardrobe this Summer, 2024, would you like to try the “scarf top” trend?
Today I am wearing another scarf from Mr. Plum, a small woman-owned business. And I styled this printed scarf in a simple and easy way by just tying a tight knot in the back. When styling a scarf top, I like the “more is more” rule in accessories. So, today I paired a long, layered pearl necklace together with a shell necklace. If multiple pearls/shells are not your thing, try pairing with your favorite gold necklace(s)(like this one). I feel this look emphasizes the neck line area, so it’s a space to show off your personality and style, and it’s up to you to wear something you like.
Here I am also wearing linen pants from here. The bag is Fendi (from many years ago, and I am so obsessing with new style by Marni). These wedge espadrilles are also my favorites for a few seasons they are comfortable to wear with an extra inch to added to my height, which is a bonus.
One last advice when you want to wear the scarf top trend, make sure to get the right size of scarf, so it goes around your body, with enough material left to tie a nice knot. The one I am wearing is 90X90 cm., about 36X36 inches; I am normally size 2 or 4, folded the scarf in half diagonally, it gives nearly 130 cm (50 inches) of length to go around and tie in the back.
