Getty Museum 盖蒂博物馆

The J. Paul Getty Museum, a program of the J. Paul Getty Trust, is an art museum. It has two locations, one at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, California and one at the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, California. The museum at the Getty Center contains “Western art from the Middle Ages to the present;” its estimated 1.3 million visitors annually makes it one of the most visited museums in the United States. The museum at the Getty Villa contains art from “ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria”. Most of the visitors know that this is the richest museum in the world ( 10 billion dollars total cost) . And it has become the most-visited art viewing site in Los Angeles.

Hard to believe that it’s free entry for this private museum, and the parking fee is . On a special Choo Choo Train [also free!] to take us from the parking area to the museum , here we go!

There is a special family show today, a music group called Milkshake has a live performance! I think they do very well! They play music especially for kids.  They had all the kids dancing in front of the stage, and a giant “earth ball” and big baseballs fly around between the audience! You can call it is really a family FUN! And Red Bear is so silly, he danced with other kids in front of the stage, too! But he faced the audience when the other kids faced the band… haha!

If you have been to Warner Studio or Disneyland in your last trip to Los Angeles,  how about making this richest museum as your next visit destination?
