After a couple years of blogging, I still treat my blog as my little hobby, something to do after I finish all the “housewife” & “full-time mom” duties. Most people ask me how do I keep the balance between each role of my life. For me, it’s all about quality of life and finding a happy balance between work and friends and family.
Taking care of my hair is the same. I try to go to the gym or hot yoga almost everyday, to get some sweat out, and after a hot workout, I wash my hair almost everyday. I need some hair products that have a lot of naturally healthy and balanced ingredients.
I tried these Aveeno Pure Renewal shampoo & conditioner, because of their Seaweed Extract (we Asians love seaweed!) and they are sulfate free. My skin is very sensitive to irritating ingredients in many shampoos these days; with some shampoos, I’ve suffered a little rash around my scalp, kind of itching sometimes —- it’s bad! I have not had a problem with itching since using these products, and they are moisturizing and great for my everyday-wash hair. I actually love how my hair looks and feels after I use them.
So what’s my suggestion about how to find the “happy balance” in life? It’s to make a good choice, choose what is good for you, because choices have consequences.
Special thanks to AVEENO for collaborating on this post with me. As always, all opinions are all honestly my own.

Ally Gong, I’m with you! I like natural backgrounds of trees and bushes, but Hallie usually prefers street scenes — it’s a debate we have almost every photo shoot, and somehow Hallie (almost) always wins. This scene is from the corner of our yard where Hallie likes to drink tea, read, and relax. We call it the “Mommy Garden.”
头发看起来确实很蓬松!
