An Intimate Talk: The Thing Is So Annoying

Let me share a funny conversation I had recently when I went out with a friend; I told her, “This morning I found a pimple on my nose, red and bright, and it’s so annoying!”

My friend said, “Yes, that happens to me all the time!  They are so annoying!” Then we both laughed and talked about how bad we treated our acne skin when we were young.

“I was so stupid to use alcohol to try to dry them out.  That really damaged my skin,” she said.

“I know,” I said.  “I even used toothpaste, too, and that worked better!”

Ha-ha…we both laughed so hard and it was the funniest conversation ever.

Between you and me, I have been bothered by acne and skin blemishes since I was a little girl.  At that time, there really wasn’t anything available in China to help those kinds of problems.  Now that I am older and living in America, I am still annoyed sometimes if something makes my skin break out, even though I already have a child!  It could be when my period comes, or when I eat spicy food, it happens EVERY time.  And I LOVE spicy Szechuan food from China!

From talking to my girlfriends and bloggers and readers, I know I definitely am not alone with this problem.  So when ZAPZYT contacted me and asked me to try their products, right away I said, “Yes!”  (Like most girls, I’m always looking to try some new beauty products.)

So one night last week, Bob took us to dinner a Chinese Szechuan restaurant we had never tried before.  I was super-excited, because we don’t live in a Chinese neighborhood, so it isn’t easy to find a good Szechuan restaurant.  Almost none, in fact!

Well, this restaurant made me feel like I was home in China, so I ordered a LOT, so I would have plenty of left-over food to take home and feast on for a few days.  But there was a price to pay, and without fail, my pimple friend came to visit me right away, like I knew it would.  LOL.

But I knew I had a secret weapon to try.  That night I use the ZAPZYT cleaner and the ZAPZYT acne treatment gel.  The next morning, the blackhead was flat and not going to grow big for sure. and after one more day using the products, all the blackhead was gone!  I am very happy with these products, I just wish I could have got them when I was a teen!

Thank you to ZAPZYT for kindly sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own  .The products worked like a magic on me, and I hope it will work for  you, too, if you suffer with acne problems and pain. The most important part, this will make your pimple smaller, but it will also dry your skin,  so don’t ever forget to use a moisturizer with it.

P.S. I would like to share some 10 tips from the ZAPZYT for prevention acne. And you are welcome!

1. Keep your face clean. Whether or not you have acne, it’s important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead  skin cells, and extra oil from your skin’s surface. Washing more often than twice daily is not necessarily better; it may do more harm than good. Use warm, not hot, water and a mild facial cleanser.

2. Use A Spot Treatment. Treat your acne with a spot treatment.

3. Gently Exfoliate. Use a scrub that gently exfoliates removing dead skin cells and lifts away dirt and oil.

4. Use makeup sparingly. During a breakout, avoid wearing foundation, powder, or blush. If you do wear makeup, wash it off at the end of the day. If possible, choose oil-free cosmetics without added dyes and chemicals. Choose makeup that is labeled as “noncomedogenic,” meaning it should not cause acne.

5. Watch what you put on your  hair. Avoid using fragrances, oils, pomades, or gels on your  hair. If they get on your face, they can block your skin’s pores and irritate your skin. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Oily hair can add to the oil on your face, so wash your hair often, especially if you’re breaking out. Got long hair? Keep it pulled away from your face.

6. Keep your hands off your face. Avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring.

7. Stay out of the sun. The sun’s ultraviolet rays can increase inflammation and redness, and can cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark discoloration). Some acne medications may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Limit your time in the sun, especially between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and wear protective clothing, such as a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and a broad-brimmed hat. Whether you have pimples or not, always apply  sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher at least 20 minutes before sun exposure. Look for “noncomedogenic” on the  sunscreen label to make new pimples less likely. Read the ingredients on the product label to know what you’re putting on your skin.

8. Don’t pop. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, it can lead to scarring or infection.

9. Feed your skin. Most experts agree that certain foods, like  chocolate, don’t cause pimples. Still, it makes sense to avoid greasy food and junk food and add more fresh  fruits and vegetables and whole grains to your diet.

10. Chill! Some studies link stress with acne. Ask yourself what’s making you feel stressed.
