Into The Universe–Through Yosemite

Hey Lovely, How is your weekend going? We are back from our trip to Yosemite, miss your guys so much! Here are some pictures from our trip, I hope it wouldn’t take too long for you to upload all the photos, enjoy!

Close your eyes and imagine you’re resting in a field of beautiful wildflowers. It’s around noon and the heat of the sun is warming your body while a gentle breeze brushes softly against your face while making a slight whistling sound as it passes through the flowers and grass. In the background you can hear the sounds of flowing water from nearby waterfalls and the pleasant chirping of birds who are perched in the giant trees that surround the field.

You turn your head in one direction and see a family of deer. You turn your head in the other direction and see a huge rock formation rising into sky. Now, as you open your eyes, imagine how wonderful it would be if such a place existed…

Well, such a place actually does exist near the eastern border of central California. This area, located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, is one of the most beautiful and famous parks in the world. It’s Yosemite! It includes 840 miles of hiking trails, about 240 species of birds, about 70 species of mammals and over 1,400 species of flowering plants.  (via: chevroncars)

Better read a map before your trip. 😀

It’s not easy to choose what to wear for the trip!

Tunnel View, provides a classic view of Yosemite Valley. It is one of the most photographed vistas in the world. Imagine how amazing it would look at sunset or after the clearing of a storm.

Built in 1879, the charming Yosemite Chapel is the oldest building in Yosemite National Park still in use.

There are two most famous waterfalls inside Yosemite, one is Bridalveil Fall. The Ahwahneechee Indian tribe called this place Pohono, “Spirit of the puffing Wind”.

We took bikes with us:) It was so great to take a bike ride

Are you a artist? 🙂

The Ahwahnee hotel designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987, The Ahwahnee  hotel has counted presidents, celebrities and royalty among its guests. Opened in 1927, it is lauded even by today’s architects as “masterful.

Having a veggie wrap as lunch in The Ahwahnee, it’s really fantastic.

One of the Yosemite Wildlife we saw: Steller’s Jay

Yosemite Falls as known as the tallest waterfall in North America.

Merced River is a federally designated wild and scenic river.

“The Clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness”—-John Muir
