Last week, by chance we visited Los Angeles George C. Page Museum so Red Bear could see “dinosaur bones.”  [Not really too many actual dinosaurs, but a lot of extinct and impressive Ice Age animnal bones, exciting for Red Bear.] The museum visit was a last minute decision before we headed home after shopping nearby, so I am sure I was the only one wearing Christian Louboutin heels walking in the museum!   I’ll bet you can just imagine how much attention I got there. 😀

From Tarpits. org: The Page Museum is located at the Rancho La Brea Tar Pits in the heart of Los Angeles. Rancho La Brea is one of the world’s most famous fossil localities, recognized for having the largest and most diverse assemblage of extinct Ice Age plants and animals in the world. Visitors can learn about Los Angeles as it was between 10,000 and 40,000 years ago, during the last great Ice Age, when animals such as saber-toothed cats and woolly mammoths roamed the Los Angeles Basin.  Outside the Museum, in Hancock Park, life-size replicas of several extinct mammals are featured.

The La Brea Tar Pits (or Rancho La Brea Tar Pits) are a cluster of tar pits around which Hancock Park was formed, in the urban heart of Los Angeles. tar(brea in Spanish) has seeped up from the ground in this area for tens of thousands of years. The tar is often covered with water. Over many centuries, animals that came to drink the water fell in, sank in the tar, and were preserved as bones.

Through windows at the Page Museum Laboratory, visitors can watch bones being cleaned and repaired.

  2. 今天下午血拼時，看上了一條和妳身上蝴蝶圖案類似的裙子，也是白底滿版飛舞的蝴蝶喔！款式是長到腳踝處的鉛筆裙。很美~但帶著嘟嘟不方便試穿，明天再去看看。要是合身的話，就把它拿下。

  4. 对啊, RB手上玩的是从博物馆买的蛇玩具,,,他就喜欢拿去吓唬其他小朋友…却不知道谁都不怕这玩意,,哈哈..

  10. Love it. In my opinion, it looks like a very museum worthy outfit. When my brother lived in L.A., I remember driving past this museum on several visits. I recognize those sculptures outside. It looks pretty neat (especially being able to watch the people preserve fossils). Little C would have a blast there, too!

  11. 我家的是鳄鱼玩具呢，是一排排的木制成，能摆动的那种，RB的也是这样款式的吧。我家YY也拿来吓唬我的，我还要装怕呢。恐龙化石哦，我还未真看过呢。RB又可以上了一科自然课啦。真好哦。那项链好漂亮，大爱哦。

  12. 说起小孩，Hallie那边有看到国内的“小悦悦”案吗？真是心寒，悲痛的。不过也带出了一个我们家长最重要的问题，就是家长自己本身真的要照顾好并且时刻注意小孩子的安全。

  14. Hiii!!! This looks like such a fan day! I happen to adore museums and esp the ones about natural history! All these pics are amazing and I love SO much Red Bear <3 But this thing he's holding is not a real snake, is it? :O haha!
    As for the outfit, I'm pretty sure you got loads of attention! Everyone would probably be wondering which model or which fashion editor are you! This outfit is loooovelyyy! The color combination is pure perfection. And omgosh the skirt! KILLER! The top is cute too and of course don't get me started on the shoes!!! WHY? Why are all of your shoes SO perfect? hahah! Lucky! 😀

  16. 是啊，我最近在我們這發現好多長到腳踝的鉛筆裙。。。
    我還不太習慣這種款式。心裡會覺得如果搭配不好，會不會顯得老氣呀？
    但可以肯定的是合身的剪裁，很顯女人味喔！而且看起來也會讓身型修長不少呢！

  33. 广州之行。。。就是工作，见客户，吃饭，淡合作计划。。。唯一有一天休息，陪着助手小姑娘去了长隆嬉戏谷。。。太疯狂了，坐了个垂直降落，下来就一直眩晕恶心。。。跟着年轻人跑来跑去，看着她大叫大笑，看着她，脑子里印出的是8年前在HK海洋公园的我。。。那是也是快乐第一，工作第二。。。无忧无虑。。。

    很有价值的收获是去年就一直想有合作意向的一个巴西客人，今年终于向我伸出了橄榄枝，且很有诚意的在他未回国前就已经把初步订单发给了我。。。还一再邀请我去他那美丽的城市。。。已经开始向往了。。。
