Yesterday, I had the honor to be featured on the biggest Chinese newspaper in the U.S here — Chinese Daily News. Thanks to Chinese Daily News, and thanks to all my Chinese readers who have left your sweet support and comments in my Facebook/Twitter/Instagram /Weibo. It’s really a different feeling when reading an article about myself — in Mandarin — and the comments from all of you that wrote in Chinese, it made me feel like being home in China. It’s warm and always there for me.
A couple days ago, I saw a message in my Facebook from a young German man, he told me he likes my blog and style, and told me he and his girl friend decided to celebrate their 5 years anniversary in December. When I first read this message, I was “shocked” , I mean, a young man likes my blog, too? I can’t believe that, and I suspected it as a spam, so I wrote him back carefully and tried to find out what he really wanted. Turned out he is so sweet, and he send me his gf’s picture and asked me if that’s okay for him to give her a big watch, maybe plus a leather bracelet. hehehe….I really like his ideas, I told him I am going to help him come up with a bunch of gift ideas within his budget, and I told him in the end, he should know what his his gf likes better than I can, and I believe if they are in love, she will love whatever he gift he offers her. Am I right or not? Calling for all the young men and ladies, what would you give each other for your 5 years anniversary of love?

When I read the 2nd half of your post, it gave me a shrill down my spine. I had a similar email from man too and telling me the same exact thing that he’s been following my blog for a while and was looking for an anniversary gift for his gf and they’re going to celebrate their anniversary soon. He’s thinking of getting her a watch and was wondering what I would suggest as I’m a fashion blogger. So I asked some questions to find out about his gf’s taste and what she likes. After exchanging several emails, he finally told me that he has some watches and if I’m interested to take a look at them. I didn’t replied after that.
