We have seen the low-rise jeans trend shown off by many celebrities. Personally, I had not really owned or tried a pair until recently. Before now, I haven’t tried the low-rise look because:
1.I think I am not tall enough to handle the “almost touch-the-floor” length.
2.I felt I am not “cool” enough to play with this trend.
A couple days ago, I was gifted this pair of low-rise baggy jeans, so I made a daring (for me) move. I paired these jeans with a midriff-showing top — (I have never been against the midriff trend, it really depends on when and where are you going to wear it). To make this trendy look more age-suitable, I added a black and white fitted jacket (on sale from Zara). Layering necklaces is my favorite jewelry accessorizing look these days, and I also think the texture of this Saint Laurent Large Quilted Envelope Clutch Bag gives this trendy outfit a modern lift.
