I am not really good or confident at doing make-up at all! In fact, I never really did “serious” make-up when I was in China, at most I used to just put some powder and lipstick when I thought I needed make-up. Life changed & things changed, too, when I moved to the U.S. 6 years ago. It’s much more part of the beauty scene in the U.S. than in China. I learned to start doing more make-up, sometimes by experimenting, and I learned from YouTube a lot!
The only thing I always wanted to try & never had a chance with was using air-brush products, like professional make-up artists use these days. I saw that in many TV shows & backstage at the fashion shows, these air-brushes did amazing job from what I saw. So, when TEMPTU asked me if I wanted to try their air-brush products and write a review, I immediately said, “Yes” Even though it was new to me, my first chance to use an air-brush,and I am not good at it yet, but I tried it, and I know this might be something new and interesting for you, too!
This photo shot is from my 2nd time using the TEMPTU products to make this tutorial. I got to say, the first time was a big mess! I had juice messed around, and I was too close to my face, the make-up was terrible, and I was so frustrated. Then I sat down and took some time to look at the TEMPTU website’s user guide and the other reviews, and learned how to use it right. In general, this whole make-up takes a little more time then my normal make-up routine, but I like the result, especially the foundation, they look so very even and smooth! I made this tutorial in the morning, then went to Red Bear’s school and told the whole kindergarten the story about “Chinese New Year”, the make up looked effortless, and stayed in the place before I took a shower at night. Like with everything in life, I believe I will get better and faster when I get more practice — practice makes perfect!
Today’s make up was inspired by Michael Kors 2014 Spring NYFW, I like this romantic and effortless look.
Special thanks to TEMPTU for all the tools and products — all product reviews are my true feelings, because that is what my dear readers deserve and want.
