Hello, my dear friends. First of all, I have to thank all of you who left warm comments on my last post: Mother’s Day Memories Recalled With Coach Watch. It’s a pretty personal post with some beautiful memories.
We all know the expression “time flies by” and it’s especially true when watching your child grow. You see him every day and suddenly this baby has grown into a boy right before your eyes. Before you know it he will be leaving home.It all happens so fast! There isn’t a day that goes by that my husband and I don’t talk about my son Red Bear and all the memories that have been made as a family. We talk about how good, caring, smart and funny he is. He may not always be the easiest kid (I think every parent can relate), but has a big heart filled with lots of love.
One of my favorite parts of the day (besides the usual “Mommy, I love you”) is when I get these amazing little surprises from my son. Here is one of his drawings that’s hanging on our refrigerator.
Please forgive the spelling mistakes; he is only 6 after-all.
See the 3rd note? He was trying to say, “I promise I will change Honey Bear’s diaper…” Red Bear has been wishing for a little sister lately, and he’s taken to calling her “Honey Bear.” He keeps asking when Honey Bear is going to be born. I told him I don’t know yet because I don’t have anybody to change her diaper. This note was his little way of saying he would be the one to help mom with the new baby. How precious is that!
Today, when he saw me editing these pictures, he asked me what I was doing.
I said, “I am trying to tell people how I styled this COACH watch.”
He said, “I see you have so many watches, why is this one is so special?”
I responded, “It’s beautiful and elegant, just like your mom (yes, that’s how cheeky I am when I talk to my son, lol!), and I want your future wife to be beautiful and elegant, too. Then maybe I can give this watch to her. Do you think she would like it?”
He laughed, and said, “Oh no! Why do we have to talk about this right now?”
We laughed, and I got a big kiss and warm hug from him.
My life changed a lot after becoming a mom. Whether I was awake at night nursing, disciplining, or preparing meals, I always put him first. Being a Mom is the hardest thing in the world. But its also the greatest job I’ve ever had.
What I wore: COACH Rivet Stainless Steel Studded Bracelet Watch / H&M Sweater /H&M Midi Skirt / Tildon Shoes(very old)

Again, with Mother’s day coming up soon, I wish all the Moms a very Happy Mother’s Day!
Awww, such a beautiful post and touching photos! I have a 6 years old daughter and I can’t imagine a moment of my day without being with her or thinking about her. You look gorgeous in this simple but feminine outfit. 🙂
