What we wear most of the time in our daily life.
And if you have a teen kid, you probably also understand the pain when shopping for them. My son keeps saying he need new pants, new shirts, new shoes (and he really is growing so fast lately), but he never takes the some time to go shopping with me, and going and trying anything on in the store is something that would never happen. Before, I tried buying by guessing his taste and size , sometimes we were able to make a return before he wore it. Most of the time, though, he would wear an item once, then decided he did not like it, and never wore the item again — good for some clothing charity, not so good for me. Sigh . . .
So here is my new way to get him new shoes: I choose those that are comfortable for me and that I would wear daily, and choose the same style, but in a different size for him. It’s not easy to get my son to give a compliment for anything, so when he said, “I like them,” for these shoes — that is a perfect score!
