I posted these two looks in my Instagram stories the last couple days, and I got so many DM questions asking me what I wore and how to find them. So I decided to write a blog post about them.
I wore the first outfit to the “Back-to-School”event at my son’s new school, on a hot evening in L.A. So I decided to go for casual, and a ponytail fits this kind of sporty outfit well, I think.
The top I wore is a Free People tank. I like it so much, and wish I can own every color they make it in. These cargo pants were from Zara, but last year, and they fit really well. You can see me in the Express sandals in the post here and here; they look good with a dress/skirt and even cargo pants in today’s case. Those pants and shoes are not available anymore, but I listed a bunch of similar ones for you to look at:
I wore this second outfit to my son’s Boy Scout camp area on Saturday, on a surprise and emergency visit to him. We accidentally failed to pack a big part of his vegan food before he went on his trip, so we got up early and drove all the way to the mountains to deliver it to him — didn’t want him to starve or have to find nuts and berries to eat!
T-shirt and jeans and sneakers are one of my normal running errands styles, especially when it involves going up to a mountain camp. I have always liked graphic tees, and have quite a collection of them. I mostly prefer to wear a black t-shirt (the reason is a simple secret: I don’t like to wear a bra when I don’t need to. Ha!) This pair of jeans was from Zara; I seem to shop most of my casual, running errands pants from Zara. I feel they fit my figure pretty well, and with the sale price, I just use scissors to trim the hems without worrying “am I cutting it right?” issues.
Those sneakers are a gift from a friend from Article Number; I personally really like sneakers with a little bit of a platform. You know, adding a little height for any petite lady is always a good idea.
See the other “running-errands” styles I am consider for buying:
P.S. Don’t mind me if I share some more pictures I took on around my son’s camp area. It’s so beautiful, and I hope you like them ,too. (Shot by my iPhone, btw).

I am wearing the same tank style Sunday today, as you can tell, this tank top actually is very easy to style. Also, those sandals (My favorite bought in 2019) are on sale now, get them before they sold out!
