My Favorite Easy // Classic Style To Try

Who knew we would be starting to plan our son’s college already?! Last week I wore this outfit to a College Fair in Pasadena, where there were many busloads of high school students from all over southern California also checking out college life.

It was open to parents and students, and hundreds of colleges had booths there. Not too many parents were there, but my husband and I attended — not trying to spoil our son, but he was home with a bad cold, and I wanted to learn about American colleges.

Outfit Details: Gap Tee // Smythe Pants (from The RealReal, similar style here) //

Chanel Shoes (similar here) // Chanel Bag(similar here) //

Linda Farrow Sunglasses // Hair bow (old, similar here. You can take it off, if that’s too “girly” for you) //

J.Crew Necklace (from last year, similar style here)

Now, let’s talk about today’s outfit! I think this was an event where a floral dress or bold color outfit would not be appropriate, so I choose a classic black and white look — and yep! I did get many school’s representatives giving me compliments about my outfit. For me, it’s also an outfit that is comfortable to wear all day, walking and talking. And that is what we did, and came away with loads of information about a lot of good colleges.
