One of the benefits of living in L.A. is the good weather, of course. We are starting to welcome the first signs of Spring in the beginning of March — for me, that means more sun, more wind, and more allergy reactions to pollen! , I love to change my beauty products often based on the weather, because I do believe our skin also has “memories,” and it needs to have different treatments to break in and affect it in different seasons and weather. Today, I am sharing my current favorite Spring beauty products below. Have you tried any of them?
The cream is scent free, which I like because it does not increase any allergic reaction my nose already suffers from pollen in the air. It’s also smooth and weightless, & it doesn’t leave my face greasy.
Merit is new line of beauty products just launched earlier this year. I got it as a gift for media to try, and I loved them from the first time I tried them. Less is more” is what I feel about this brand. The make-up looks healthy and fresh on me, and it only needs about 5 minutes to apply.
I put on body lotion every night after my shower, so I use a big amount of body lotion each month. I like this one because it comes in a big bottle, and the cream leaves my skin feeling hydrated and non-greasy. It’s also fragrance-free.
I use a face mask 2-3 times a week, and this is the best mask I have tried for years, It leaves my skin feeling instantly smoothed and hydrated! It’s kind of pricey, but I think it is really worth it.
This is a new brand I just got to know recently, and now I know why they are so proud of their BFF Cream. It’s called “skin perfector,” and it does help to even out my skin tone, at the same time, creating a flawless glow. I always look like I had a good night sleep after applying, it no matter what. The SPF-30 is an extra bonus for the CA sun, too.
I have been using this cleansing powder instead of my regular facial cleaner every night for a while. I like that its not only a cleaner, but also a exfoliating cleaner that gives a deep yet gentle cleanse by softly sloughing away dead skin cells and sebum. I can feel the difference, yes!
Another mask I have been using lately, after I heard a lot of good reviews from my other Asian friends. I definitely feel it helps to moisturize and soften my skin after every use.
I am very careful when choosing an eye cream, since my eyes are the most sensitive part of my body. I bought this based on all the reviews on the Sephora site; I haven’t seen any big difference for my eyes yet, but I do like that it goes on super smooth, and leaves the area around my eyes feeling moisturized.
Perricone MD is one of my favorite beauty brands. (And I am also a fan of their Vitamin supplements.) This daily moisturizer formula also comes with SPF-30 that I like, and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and tight.
