No doubt about it, wearing a mini dress/skirt with a pair of platforms makes my legs look so much longer! And being a petite myself, with many past sports-related problems in my knees, wearing platform shoes gets more and more challenging these days. I still own a couple pairs, and don’t think I can completely get rid of them from my closet yet — they are good for special events, parties that don’t require too much standing or walking — and, for pictures of course!
This pair of platform sandals was from ASOS from last year — a budget friendly purchase. I have this pair of Valentino platform sandals, also from last year, when platform shoes were so IN at that time (see the post here). I am still loving them; they are not everyday shoes for me, for sure, I just need to wait for the right occasions to wear them. I also love this pair of Larroude platform sandals I got last year (see the post here) — I have to say, they are the most comfortable pair, when compared with my other platforms.

I doubt I will get more platform sandals this year — let’s be real, I don’t wear them that often, mostly because they might twist my knees.
