We Found A New Way to Shop Our Dream Pre-Owned Designer Handbags!

I like bags, all kind of bags!  I think a good bag can help to finish and polish a look with its own character.  Most of my bags are designer handbags, I like all the stories /culture / history behind the names and logos, and when I seek for a designer handbag, classicness and quality are two primary factors I consider.

I also like to re-cycle my bags; I sell some of my pre-loved bags to get some new or pre-owned handbag to help to achieve my varied styles for another new season or new trend.

Today I am wearing one of my all-time favorite dream bags — The Chanel Classic Double Flap Beige Jumbo Bag.  This bag has been on my wishlist for so long, but I didn’t really have a chance to own it . . . until now.  I finally got it fromStockX. — in excellent condition and at a great price. I am so happy with this new beauty!

Who is StockX and How does it work?

Unlike traditional e-commerce and auction websites, StockX is a stock market of things and a consumer marketplace.  They connect buyers and sellers the exact same way that the stock exchange connects buyers and sellers.  This means that their real-time market data gives buyers and sellers a live, transparent look at the fair market value of a handbag.  This reflects what buyers are willing to pay, not what they think you should pay. No more browsing endless listings and handing over your hard-earned money only to question just how genuine your purchase was.  Because buyers and sellers come together anonymously, you’ll never have to deal with someone on the other end – and StockX does all the works for you!  You don’t need to check who the seller is, where they’re located, and how many reviews they have, etc.  Think buying stock in the stock market.  I know very little about the stock market, BTW, but I know: when you go to buy a share of any big/unknown name’s stock on any active Stock Market Exchanges, there’s an actual seller on the other end of that trade selling you that share, but you don’t know who it is and you don’t care.  All you care about is the price you’re paying for it. For me, The StockX market is completely revolutionary and unique, and genuinely doesn’t exist in any other forms of commerce expect for the actual stock market.

It’s pretty easy, and here is how:

1. Complete registration process on the Web at https://stockx.com/

The online form will be look like this, fill in all the information, and click “SUBMIT” of course!

2. Download the StockX Mobile app (since most customers use the mobile app to track bags they are bidding on or looking for)
3. Browse bags https://stockx.com/handbags
4. Place a Bid on Bag

So what kind of bags do they have?  Right now they have over 11,000 bags available to purchase on StockX from Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Goyard and new bags are added daily and more brands will be added soon. If there is a bag or brand you want added, just contact support@stockx.com

Two ways to purchase a bag. If there is an ASK (i.e., someone is selling the bag), you can BUY NOW at the lowest seller price.  Alternatively, you can place a BID and see if a seller will reduce their ASK price. The transaction happens when the buyer and seller agree on the price. This can take a few minutes, or a few days.

StockX authenticates all bags and checks that they are in excellent condition before it ships to the buyer.  Once the buyer and seller price match, the seller ships to StockX. If the bag doesn’t meet either authenticity or condition, StockX contacts the buyer, and the buyer either cancels the order (and receives a full refund) or they try to find another bag.  Buyer decides!

The styles, models, colors of bags that are available for resale changes daily, but on StockX, buyers can place a Bid on a bag even if there isn’t a seller. This allows buyers to let potential sellers know they want to buy a bag.

My suggestion: if you are looking for a rare bag from several seasons ago that is no longer available in stores,StockX should be your first place to start your search.

However, the photos you see on the site are stock images. Because StockX only accepts bags that are in excellent condition, you don’t have to worry about receiving an item in any other possible condition. In other words, what you see is what you get.

Pricing transparency?? Again, like the Stock Market,  StockX doesn’t set the prices, the market does, but they also provide historical pricing data.

One special function I like from the StockX site is their Search BAR — the box at the top is often the easiest way to start searching for a bag based on brand, color, model, etc.

Finally, StockX has a team of people to help you in your bag search, so if you have a question about a bag style, availability, etc., you can always ask them to help.

我的建议：如果您正在寻找几个季节以前的稀有包装，而这些包装已经不在商店里了，那么StockX应该是您的第一个开始搜索的地方。

但是有一点要和大家说明的就是，你在她家网站上看到的照片是商品图像，并不是实物图片。但是由于StockX只接受9成新以下的包包，所以您也不必担心在实货不对版。换句话说，你看到的是你所得到的。

她家的定价透明度也是和股市一样，StockX并不设定价格，她们根据市场需求和走势为包包标价，她们也会提供历史价格数据。

我个人比较喜欢StockX网站的一个特殊功能是搜索栏 – 在那里我可以将以前喜欢的现在已经找不到的包包来个大搜索，看看是不是还能再找到或者是价格是不是值得买下什么的。
