I have conflicted feelings toward knit dresses in Summer. I LIKE that most of them are wrinkle free, and don’t really need to be ironed, even when I sit in it for many hours, and some summer knits are very breathable. I DON’T like that they can cling to and reveal every inch of your body. My stomach most of the time is pretty flat, but I do get bloated easily at times, and I HATE it when there is no way to hide a bloated tummy under a body-hugging (or even loose) knit dress. But I love this knit dress set, the peplum top design covers right under my stomach, and makes the look very feminine, with many flattering layers.
I also love this Oscar de La Renta Skirt & Matched top (both are so sale), the top also comes with the very pretty peplum details. I also like the fit of this REISS knit skirt and the matched top, although the matched REISS knit top is a cropped style — but I always have confident in REISS’s designs, alway a classic fit in most of their pieces.
