In L.A., on most of these 100F weather days, I like to wear shorts. Compared with biker shorts, I prefer this kind of “paperbag” shorts — they are kind of oversized, which gives my lower body a lot of room to breathe in those hot summer days. I also brought this pair of denim shorts with me during our little road-trip last weekend. And I learned a trick when buying shorts — I try 1-2 sizes bigger than my normal size, and they look a bit lose but also give an effortless vibe.
