Last Sunday, after morning church service, we headed about an hour’s drive south to Lido Marina at Newport Harbor for a boat show, and we stayed a few hours at Balboa Island. Balboa Island is a small island right in Newport Harbor; you get on it using a ferry boat on one side, or using a bridge on the other side. So busy yet such a wonderful way to spend the weekend! Weather looks cloudy, but still nice, not too hot and not too cold — perfect for a maxi skirt and a denim jacket as an easy match.

Hi! This is indeed such a fun way to spend a weekend! I really wish I could go to some place like this to just relax and do anything. But with my finals only a month away, I don’t think that this is possible. Anyway, I love so much this outfit! I mean, at first I’d never ever have thought of pairing these pieces together, but look how wonderful the final result is! I totally love this maxi skirt and especially with these sneakers.
