This Hallowe’en weekend. There will be not any celebration for us, neither for most of our neighbors. Sadly, Los Angeles is still in lockdown status, but we had some fun time in the park, while my son was taking a private kickboxing class. While he was sparring, Niko and I also had some fun time exploring in the wild.
Before the pandemic, sweatshirts and sweatpants occupied a big part of my closet, but most of the time, I only wore them at home. Thanks to the strange 2020 time we have been living through, wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants out has become a new thing for me, and I like it.
I do though, have a couple standards for my going-out sweatshirt and pants.
1. They can’t be too oversized or too loose — that would make me look too flabby.
2. They have to stay in shape after many washes. You know, besides washing our hands often, we have to keep our clothes clean, too!
3. I like my sweatshirt and pants made of cotton, 100% cotton. Cotton is good to my skin and to the environment.

See my favorite sweatshirts and sweatpants picks this season. I have a couple of these petite sweat-sets, but they always get sold out too quickly whenever new colors come out.
