The other day(last few months?) when I saw this Marc by Marc Jacobs Dress at a 50% off price on sale at Net-A-Porter, there were 2 of me fighting each other:
Hallie 1: Get it! The dress is so adorable! And it’s Marc by Marc Jacobs!
Hallie 2: Naah…..you can easily do a similar one, a striped tee shirt + peplum skirt.
Hallie 1: But it could be very different, the material, the cut, the fit.
Hallie 2: But you already have have so many peplum skirts (top), and maybe too many. You need vibrant items in your closet, like some sleeveless shirt with beautiful print, or some print Tee shirt as well, and …. etc….
Ok, as you can tell, Hallie 2 won [this time], and here I made a similar style that is inspired by that dress. Hope you like it too!
But, seriously, if they still had my size available, I am sure Hallie 1 would have take control! 😀
