Last night, my husband talked to me very seriously and said, “We need to get Red Bear some new clothes — those pants he is wearing right now look so short on him, and he has trouble putting on his tee-shirts because of his big head!”
Ha-ha! It’s true, and I just realized how fast Red Bear grows. “He just needs some fitted pants and some long and short tee-shirts,” I replied, “because winter is ending and there’s no need to buy him a jacket now.”
That’s different from what I need right now, though. I need a trench that is not too heavy nor too thin, easy to wear for the transition season, and can be worn for any chilly night out for most of the month of the year.
See my Top 10 Spring Trench picks for the transition season. As you might tell, a gingham print trench is definitely on my mind right now.

These are gorgeous picks! I really wish I could have them all, though the Tibi coat in the second row in particular seems to be calling my name. What great transition pieces!
