Travel: Beach Life in San Pedro, Belize

Happy Tuesday, my dear friends.

Thank you for your visiting today, so that I can share some of the beautiful moments of our family vacation in Belize last week. There are so many pictures on my phone and our camera, I wish I could show you all!

The weather was a bit hot and humid when we were in San Pedro, Belize.  That was our first stop, on the island of Ambergris Cay, right next to Belize’s Great Reef.  I am so happy that I just bought this striped top with me; the bow details on the shoulders are so cute, they bring out the French twist in the Caribbean beach.  (The brand is The Laden Showroom X I LoveFriday, so sorry the top has already sold out.)

It’s the sale season, got this polka dot one-piece swimsuit from a Saks sale.  I like that it comes with a matching headband.  The retro pattern sure brightens up all the beach pictures.

The best thing is, we found a best breakfast place that was just a couple steps away from where we were staying.  The food is YUMMY at The Melt Cafe, and the service was great and friendly!

Yes, breakfast/lunch/dinner on the beach is normal in San Pedro.

Big palm trees and local gift shop stands are everywhere; the price is always negotiable and people are always friendly

Our first dive, so exciting and we got to touch the conch, sharks, and rays in the deep blue ocean.  What a beautiful and easy experience, with our divemaster Mike.

Mostly we walked to everywhere by foot.  San Pedro isn’t that big a town, and we wanted to see everything.  Red Bear didn’t complain that much, but once a while he needed to stop and rest a little bit to check out what’s going on around him.

June is the Lobster season in Belize, so we came just on time, thumbs up for a lover of Lobster like me!  I almost felt sorry for my two vegetarian men, who could only watch me enjoy!
