I think the “Do not wear white after Labor Day” fashion rule was broken a long time ago. For me, there are 3 reasons for wearing white after Labor Day:
1. In many places, like my Los Angeles, temperatures are still high for a month or more after Labor Day, so wearing a white Tee, white dress, and white everything else has become normal, just like most other Summer days.
2. Most items in my wardrobe are lighter colors, and many of them are white. Since I am a small lady, with long black hair, I think lighter colors always give my look a fresher touch than darker colors.
3. If you are also a fashion lover, you know there really are “no rules” in the fashion world. In the end, “wear something I like and that makes me feel good” is the only rule I am following.
