It’s true, I own many gowns and fancy dresses and skirts, all great for going out to special places, but most of my daily wear are those essential items inside my closet. I am not sure how are you define your own essential fashion items, but for me, they are:
.A pair of walkable shoes — they have so comfortable, and at the same time, not make my legs look short, and also match my feminine style. These loafers I am wearing today are from J.Crew, but from a few years ago — one of my favorites for travel or daily wear. I also love a good pair of sneakers like I wore in this post, and I just placed an order for this pair of new sneakers.
.A medium size bag that can carry all I need when I go out, mostly keys, wallet, sunglasses, and a small camera. I like oversized and mini-bags as well, but oversized bags can look too dramatic for my body shape, and mini-bags mostly can’t hold all the things I need when I go out.
.A button-down shirt — needless to say, I am obsessing with this style (see the last post here), and I own many other colors of them, and I just bought this color as well.
.Jeans! I actually wear jeans a lot in my “real” daily looks, and I mostly like to wear white jeans (I just this pair recently). I think lighter colors look better on my petite style, while darker colors can “cover” me up too much; mostly, it’s just my personal preference for lighter colors than darker colors. What about you?
