In Los Angeles, the weather is mostly windy and dry in October and November. There is even a special name for this type of weather, the “Santa Ana Winds!” It can get so very dry, and the temperature can hit 90+ degrees, all the way until Christmas, with a lot of strong UV radiation. So terrible for a girl’s skin! I like to change my skincare routine & incorporate products based on the weather and my skin condition. I am sharing my nighttime skincare routine for the early Fall with you.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I LOVE beauty masks. I’ve been using masks (all kinds) 2-3 times a week since I was 18 years old.
I am currently using the new Special-Edition Mary Kay Pink Clay Mask. The mask is very rich in minerals, I can feel it while I am applying on my face. In only 10 minutes, this mask revives my skin, giving me a natural glow. Now let’s get back to the main skin care set.
I am currently using Mary Kay’s TimeWise Miracle Set 3D®. This four-piece set helps defend, delay and deliver younger-looking skin in just three simple steps. Included in this set are a cleanser, a day cream, a night cream, and an eye cream that are to be used respectively in either your morning or evening regimen. For me, so far I think:
1. It helps promote a more even skin tone.
2. Helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
3. My skin feels smooth, fresh, and moisturized each time I apply them.
Step 1: TimeWise® Age Minimize 3D® 4-in-1 Cleanser
OK, firstly, I don’t use any soap or body shower on my face anymore. I won’t say they are harmful for my face; I just think my face is so much more sensitive than my hands and body, and it requires special treatment when I clean it.
This normal-to-dry skin formula soothes the skin as it cleanses, and it also removes excess oil without drying my skin.
Step 2/Day: TimeWise Age Minimize 3D Day Cream SPF 30 Broad Spectrum Sunscreen
When living in L.A., it is hard to avoid the sun even with hats and sunglasses. I like this day cream not only because it is lightweight and non-greasy, but it also provides SPF 30 UVA/UVB protection.
Step 2/Night: TimeWise® Age Minimize 3D® Night Cream
At night, I like to incorporate Mary Kay’s TimeWise Age Minimize 3D Night Cream into my regimen. This soothing formula moisturizes skin for 12 hours, while also helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When I wake up, my skin feels rejuvenated!
Step 3: TimeWise® Age Minimize 3D® Eye Cream
As we all know, the eye area is a very sensitive area, and on me, it’s extremely sensitive! After a couple of times suffering from an irritated reaction, I have barely used eye cream.
Thanks to Mary Kay, I have now found an eye cream that I can use without it irritating my skin. Their TimeWise Age Minimize 3D Eye Cream provides 12-hour moisturization, while also brightening, soothing, and improving the texture around my eyes. Love it!
A side note: If you have the same issue of sensitive skin as I have, always test a small amount of any new eye cream on a small area around your eye area first to see how it feels on your skin, before fully applying it!
