When I look into my closet, besides dresses, blazers are the other pieces I have the most: different colors and materials, and my blazer shopping has not stopped yet, and will not stop (I think!)
When choosing a blazer for Fall, what do I recommend?
Always choose basic colors first, if you don’t have any, or need an update. What are the basic colors for a blazer, though? Black, white, camel, navy. Especially a white blazer, I feel I can wear it with any of my summer dresses, and it’s a must-have piece for the Summer-to-Fall transition weather, in my opinion.
2. Choosing what kind of material for a blazer depends on what you have most in your closet to wear with it. I have a lot of dresses in my closet, so linen is always on my mind when buying a blazer, or cotton; they are comfortable and can complete any Fall look easily.
3. For looking sharp, suits are always a good idea. They’re good for business and a sophisticated look, and they will also do for a glam night out — I would wear a silk lace cami inside!
4. Blazers can be very fun and romantic, too. When you have some extra budget and want to put more fun with your wardrobe, try a pastel or red blazer. Those colors are good to coordinate with your Summer look into the Fall, with some French chic or soft feminine touch.
