1. Floral Maxi Dress + 2 Basket Bag
When choosing a floral dress, the floral pattern is always the first thing I look into; the wrong floral can make you look old or odd, in my opinion. I really like the flowered pattern of this dress, and the A-line skirt & fitted top will keep you feeling cool and looking polished at every event this summer.
Bucket bags always add some fun & neutral chic to any outfit. I must point out, the bucket of this bag is leather, and the netting overlay was woven by hand! How precious.
3. Chunky Necklace + 4. Floral Skirt
I am a necklace lover. This chunky necklace is made in Italy, handcrafted with lots of amore! It also comes in the colors red and grey, all so beautiful!
This floral skirt marked as a “Best Seller” in the J.Crew website for a reason — it’s so pretty in person, and easy to put on and off!
5. Cat-eye Sunglasses + 6. Green Tiered Dress
Most of my sunglasses are oversized, and I didn’t realize how heavy they are until I put on this pair of cat-eye sunglasses — super light-weight and they give good protection from sun-rays. You might see me wear them a lot soon.
I like this green dress made of 100% cotton, and the elastic waistband helps to define the waist line — and, for a bonus, a dress with pockets always gets thumbs up!
7. Striped Polo Tee Shirt + 8. 90’s Wide Leg Jeans
I wore the same top in yesterday’s post (see here). Again, I like this striped polo comes with nice a ’70s vibe, with a very soft feel and just a hint of stretch.
I feel one of this Fall’s fashion trends will be 90’s-look full length or wide leg jeans/pants. This pair I am wearing today is super-flattering. I am 5’3″, 112 lbs, and wearing petite waist-size 25 on this one. Fits just right, I possibly could go one size up, but not sure the fit will look as good as this one.
9. Floral Halter Top + 10. Pearl Hoop Earrings
The bow-ready tie in the back of this floral halter top is super cute!
I like pearl / floral earrings, and the bigger, the better . . . This pair sure makes the prettiest statement to add to all your summer outfits.
11. Woven Straw Toe + 12. Linen
I have this woven straw tote bag from last summer and love it still this summer — it’s so roomy, and it’s perfect for carrying everything from my farmer’s market buys to a beach towel and a book.
There are 3 things I love to buy from J.Crew: cotton, cashmere, and linen, all very good natural fabrics, and they never disappoint me.
