Same as with personal style in general, sometimes I get bored by some of my outfit styles and want to try something new. Although we in L.A. don’t really need to wear big winter coats too often, I am already thinking about some different yet unique style coats — like checked faux fur coat.
What was in my mind when styling these 2 looks:
1. I feel faux fur is more close to the family of knit, cashmere, and sweater materials, so today I am styling 2 checked faux fur coats with a knit dress/skirt. I am more of a dress/skirt person than a jeans girl, anyway.
2. An oversized checked coat itself is already a statement piece, so I try to keep the dress/skirt color to match one of the colors within the checked coat.
