Classic Holiday Wear: Burberry Trench and Green Pencil Skirt

Happy 1st day of December, Everyone! How was your Thanksgiving weekend? I hope it was peaceful and full of love just like ours. Not only that, in L.A., we finally had some rain, and will have more! Which we like, because we REALLY need it.

Last night, Bob and I , we were talking about our family business, and he said he wants to sell the company maybe in five years, and I said, “Let’s build up the name, and leave it to our next generation.” I didn’t mean to make a lot of money and leave that to our children (they need to know how to make their own money, we don’t want to raise lazy children who believe they do not have to work and contribute to the world), but I want to build up a NAME, a timeless and classic NAME, which our children and the other people will remember us after we have died. Just like the brand Burberry. When I read “Burberry,” I think of the best elements of classic British culture and style, very decent, very elegant, and those great pattern details. Aren’t those nice?

Burberry just opened up their Los Angeles Flagship store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, I have heard it’s a very beautiful store; it’s three stories of iconic excellence and the beauty department is in a league of its own.
